It is with heavy hearts that we announce the postponement of Hide&Seek Festival 2020. This is due to the ongoing impact and seriousness of the global health crisis, which we’re all facing together and treating with the fullest respect.
Over the past months, the team has tried to stay positive and let hope carry us on, but as time goes by we creep into the summer months and ever closer to September. There are still uncertainties around large scale music events returning in the UK and this situation does not give us enough confidence for our beloved festival to go ahead in any realistic form. The health and safety of our guests will always be the main priority.
Although that brings us great sadness, we understand that the lockdown must be lifted in stages in order to protect the people of our country, NHS staff and key workers, which is of course the priority here. We would like to take this opportunity to thank these heroes for keeping us all safe and well.
After such a magical inaugural edition last year, this announcement really does cut deep. We had planned to re-welcome the close-knit family crowds, and electric atmospheric feels that were experienced last year, whilst really bringing our concept and creative vision to life. Music will still be a lasting force through all of this. ‘Seek & you will find’
With a special place in our hearts, the memories from our first edition will carry us, as we look forward to returning to those special moments together on 4th September 2021 at the amazing Capesthorne Hall.
